Corporate Governance
Good corporate governance provides the foundation for trustworthiness, risk reduction and value creation. Through our governance framework we ensure that everyone understands the distribution of roles, responsibilities, rights and accountabilities. The foundation for the governance structure of the Waterise group is Norwegian law and our Corporate Governance Policy is based on the Norwegian Code of Practice for corporate governance.

Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct is our commitment to act ethically and to comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Waterise will work with customers and suppliers to ensure that all parties comply with our Code of Conduct and the principles embedded in the UN Global Compact.
Our Code of Conduct covers issues related to human rights, diversity and equal opportunities, fair competition, privacy, health, safety and environment, combatting financial crime and taking corporate social responsibility.

Anti-Corruption
Corruption erodes trust, weakens democracy and economic development and leads to greater inequality, poverty, social division and environmental challenges.
Waterise is committed to conducting our business activities in an open and transparent manner. We encourage transparency and accountability across our operations and support efforts to combat corruption worldwide. We expect our business relations to adhere to similar standards and all applicable laws and regulations relationg to anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing and financial sanctions.

Speak Up
In Waterise we raise ethical dilemmas and act with integrity. Our employees and business partners are encouraged to:
- Lead by example to ensure that all Waterise representatives act in compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as our Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Speak up when they see something that is not in line with Waterise’s core values and which could potentially be harmful, illegal, unsafe or unethical.
Examples of breaches may be harassment, discrimination, conflicts of interest, corruption or other types of financial crimes, violations of competition laws, misuse of Waterise property, safety or security hazards, breaches of confidentiality, fraudulent accounting or embezzlement.

The Waterise Whistleblower Portal has been set up to ensure confidentiality and to protect the rights of both the person reporting, and the potential subject of a report. Waterise fully supports the right to report concerns in good faith without fear of retaliation or other negative consequences. You may choose to be anonymous where permitted by law.
